Crochet projects I am thinking about

Cat's Cradle Lace topper

Hampton Dozen Ways Wrap designed by Kristen Stolzfus Clay
available on Cascade Yarns.

Completion the left side of cardigan

Completed the left side of the cardigan.  It was quite straightforward, as I am doing stranded knitting. I was able to work in the ends as I went along so that I did not have endless ends to knit in.
When I have finished the right side, I shall be blocking both of the sides.

Re-thinking of the Leopard Cardigan

When I first started doing the cardigan, I looked at the pattern and I thought that the leopard work would be intarsia. However, when I tried to use the intarsia method, it did not really work properly, while studying the pattern, the design was very uniform and close together. I also took reference from Rowan 24, Pebbles by Kaffe Fassett, which is very similar pattern structure, also it was stranded knitting was used.

I am working on the left front.

Finished the stray beret by Andi Satterlund

Ayodele wearing the Stray Beret.
The pattern was very easy, the only thing, I would do is that I would make the crown longer, by adding a few more rows.  I enjoyed it.

Vakker Stikk

This is a knitting book by the Norwegian designer Sidsel J Hoivik, Vakker Strikk. It is very beautifully photographed and it is available from her website.  http://www.sidselhoivik.no

New project: Stray by Andi Satterlund.

Stray is the new project that I am working on.  It is a pattern by Andi Satterlund.  Her website is
http://untangling-knots.com, She is also on Ravely, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
In the pattern, she used Jo Sharp Classic DK wool. I went to John Lewis and used their Merino DK, which is 100% superwash wool.  Grey, maroon and black.   Started on 4th March and working on Stray on and off. As it is a smallish project, it will not take up too much time as with a bigger work in progress.

Update for polka cardigan

I have been working steadily on the Polka-dot cardigan from Simply Knitting 2012. A Rosee Woodland pattern, I have slightly changed it, that there are different coloured spots and I have made it a lot longer, I am using steeks for the front and the armholes.
